Brooklyn NY, especially Brighton Beach is one of our favorite places to go.

Do some bargain shopping, visit the beach or the New York Aquarium.

Little Russia - Check out the Russian and International foods in little Russia, lots of Russian souveneirs, like nesting dolls, fancy vodkas, Russian movies and lots of books.

Coney Island - When you go to Brighton Beach, you're right next to Coney Island.
These are pictures we took when we first visited Brooklyn in New York.

The New Astroland - The modern day park with roller coater, rides and Nathan's hot dogs. The favorite ride at Coney Island right now is the Cyclone Roller Coaster. We could hear screams a block away!

Coney History - Read a brief history of Coney Island, from it's beginnings in the late 1800's to the the great fire. For awhile it became a sedate spa for the rich who summered there in big wooden hotels. Day and night the sands were crowded with bathers, and the noise of the great amusement park never seemed to cease.

Coney Postcards - Lots of old picture postcards of Luna Park and Dreamland. Steeplechase Park and history. It amazes me when I see pictures of the way it use to be. Coney Island's history of amusing parks start in 1897 by a man named George C. Tylton
